What you get to do in this role:
As an Evening/Weekends/Morning Front Desk Agent, you will represent the hotel to the guest throughout all stages of their stay, working with hotel personnel to ensure superior customer care.
- Register guests, assign rooms, and accommodate special requests.
- Ensure guests have a pleasant stay and smooth checkout.
- Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
- Possess a working knowledge of the reservations department.
- Assist with same-day reservations and cancellations.
- Know room locations, types of rooms available, and room rates.
- Coordinate guest room maintenance with the engineering division.
- Use persuasive selling techniques to sell rooms and promote other hotel services.
- Know daily activities and meetings taking place in the hotel.
- Report unusual occurrences or requests to the manager.
- Manage and resolve guest complaints in a professional manner.
- Maintain customers’ privacy and professionalism at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you get to do in this role:
As a Hotel Housekeeper, you will clean and prepare guest rooms and public areas, meeting established standards to assure guest satisfaction and maximize revenues.
- Maintain hotel rooms and building to ensure a safe and clean experience for guests, associates, and vendors.
- Set up cleaning carts with supplies and maintain carts and storerooms in an organized fashion for efficiency.
- Clean windows, doors, walls, closets, and fixtures in rooms, public areas, and hallways.
- Wash shower walls and tubs, clean toilets, stall walls, exposed pipes, mirrors, sinks, and walls to maintain clean and sanitary restrooms.
- Replace towels, soaps, and room amenities; restock literature that has been removed or is soiled/torn.
- Wash hard floor areas (linoleum, tile, etc.) by hand to remove dirt and soiled spots.
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and wall hangings.
- Strip bed of linens and remake with fresh linens.
- Check closet for cleanliness, wipe closet doors, handle, shelves, and restock guest room supplies (e.g., hangers, extra blankets, extra pillows).
- Vacuum rooms, public areas, and hallways.
- Inspect door and window locks to ensure they are in working order; alert management to any unsecured or unsafe situations.
- Check lights and remotes to ensure they are in working order.
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
